Velvet rose massage

This is our signature massage using a blend of Roman chamomile & patchouli to promote relaxation for mind & body. This light pressure massage not only reduces stress but helps balances & harmonises the body.

Hot stone massage

Claire is fully qualified in LAStone therapy, one of the best hot stone training courses available. Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

Deep tissue massage

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.

Myofascial release techniques

This is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. The therapy relaxes contracted muscles, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the stretch in muscles. This treatment is great for people suffering from arthritis and fibromyalgia.

The Twilight Rose Experience Rose

Let us take your body on a journey of pure relaxation. The Twilight Rose massage is our signature treatment & will be offered on our extended treatment menu.

How does this massage differ?

Instead of having just one therapist you will have two. In essence it's like getting two full body massages. If you have never entered "the twilight zone", This is the massage for you

When two therapists and four hands hit your body, your mind reacts differently. At first you might find yourself trying to keep track of the therapists, where each one is and what each one is doing, struggling to keep it all in a very logical order in your head. But very quickly your brain realises it’s not sure who is doing what, and gives up control. This is a powerful treatment for anyone who has a hard time letting go during treatments. The Twilight Rose Experience includes the use of Swedish techniques, hot stones, Indian head massage & acupressure points.

*not suitable for people with heart conditions

"If the goal of a massage is to calm your body and clear your mind, you should not be wondering when the therapist is going to make their way to the other half of your body. With the four-handed massage, everything is being stimulated at once,” says Annie Cantrell, lead massage therapist at The Waldorf Astoria Spa New Orleans. “It’s kind of amazing how your brain is capturing that.”

Baby massage

Baby massage is the perfect way to help you to bond with your new baby and also help to stimulate their physical and emotional growth, as well as stimulating their awareness through the sense of touch. As well as benefitting the baby, baby massage is also beneficial to you as a parent, helping you to better understand your baby's non-verbal cues.

How Massage is of Benefit to Your Baby

There are heaps of benefits to baby massage. It helps to build a secure bond between the parent and the child. It also helps the baby to feel more secure emotionally, meaning that they will be more confident and well balanced as they get older. It is also great at calming and relaxing the baby, leading to less irritability and fewer tantrums.

Massage also benefits the skin as it improves its texture and condition. It improves the blood circulation, increasing the flow of oxygen to muscles and tissues and also helping to remove waste products more efficiently. The immune system is also strengthened and it helps to reduce the incidence of coughs, colds, and infections in the ear and nasal passages.

Massage can increase your baby's flexibility and help their coordination. It also helps the digestive system and can help your baby to feed better. As well, it can relieve the pain and discomfort that a baby feels when it has colic or other problems such as constipation.

Mum To Be Massage

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. It's also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists who are trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly.

A specially formulated oil for pregnancy is applied to you and the baby as you are both enveloped in pure bliss, while the therapist massages you from head to toe, even including a mini facial to help rejuvenate and brighten dull skin.

Our Pregnancy Massage Treatments are ideal from 12 weeks onwards and are adapted by the therapist at every stage of pregnancy to provide the most deeply relaxing and soothing treatment possible.

(Client must be more than 3 months into pregnancy)

Couple's massage

A Couple's Massage allows partners to experience massage together in the same area as one therapist works on each person. This is perfect as a romantic treat, a mother & daughter pamper experience or a girls day out.

Indian head massage

Indian Head Massage has been practised in India for over 1000 years. Traditionally the techniques were restricted to the head and hair, to improve scalp and hair condition of Indian women. Nowadays a system incorporating the upper back, shoulders, neck, upper arms and face, has evolved (developed by Norendra Mehta) in the belief that these are important energy centres in the body and by treating these the whole body can benefit.

Indian Head Massage is a safe, accessible, and convenient therapeutic treatment that can be performed either in the clinic or the workplace. Treatment can provide instant relief from tension and stress symptoms and induce a state of calm, peace and tranquillity and also promote high levels of alertness and concentration.

This simple yet effective therapy uses a variety of techniques to manipulate soft tissue. It is performed with the client in a seated position, usually through light clothing and without the use of oils. The therapist uses a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate the head, neck, and upper back and shoulder area.

Eve Taylor Anti-Stress massage

This massage is the most common type of treatment at the salon & is carried out with a deeper pressure than our signature massage. Swedish massage combines various hands-on techniques including gliding, kneading, and cross-fiber friction to break up muscle knots, called adhesions. Swedish massage can be slow and gentle, or vigorous and bracing, depending on what you want from the treatment.
